# appShots

> App Store screenshots for iPhone, iPad and Mac, made by your coding agent over MCP or by hand in the Studio. Device frames, headlines, badges, and every size App Store Connect asks for.

appShots is a web app at https://shots.beffa.xyz. People sign in with Google and make a set of App Store screenshots in the Studio, its editor, or let a coding agent (Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, Pi or another) make the whole set through the server's MCP endpoint at https://shots.beffa.xyz/mcp, the `appshots` skill and the `appshots` command for the Mac. Every page below is plain Markdown.

## Start

- [appShots documentation](https://shots.beffa.xyz/docs/index.md): What appShots is, what it makes and where to start. App Store screenshots for iPhone, iPad and Mac, built by hand in the Studio or by a coding agent over MCP.
- [Quick start](https://shots.beffa.xyz/docs/quick-start.md): Make your first set of App Store screenshots with appShots. Sign in, connect your agent with one command or add screenshots by hand, then export the ZIP.
- [Connect an agent](https://shots.beffa.xyz/docs/connect.md): Set up Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, Pi or any other coding agent to make App Store screenshots with appShots. One command installs the skill, the CLI and the MCP connection.
- [Update](https://shots.beffa.xyz/docs/update.md): How appShots stays current. The Studio and the server's tools update by themselves, and one command, appshots update, refreshes the skill and the CLI on your Mac.

## Make a set

- [The appshots skill](https://shots.beffa.xyz/docs/skill.md): What the appshots skill makes a coding agent do, step by step. It checks the setup, asks five questions, captures the screens, writes the headlines, then builds and renders the set.
- [Get your screens in](https://shots.beffa.xyz/docs/screens.md): Three ways to get raw app screenshots into an appShots project. Upload files you have, capture each screen as you open it, let the agent run the app in the iOS Simulator, capture the window of a Mac app, or capture the pages of a web app.
- [Mac apps](https://shots.beffa.xyz/docs/mac.md): Make Mac App Store screenshots with appShots. Capture a Mac app's window, show it as a window or inside a MacBook, and export landscape pictures at 2880 × 1800, alone or beside an iPhone and iPad set.
- [Web apps and other toolkits](https://shots.beffa.xyz/docs/web-apps.md): Make store screenshots of an app that is not an Xcode project. Capture a web app's pages at iPhone, iPad and Mac size with one command, and start a Flutter, React Native, Expo, Capacitor, Tauri or Electron app with its own command before capturing it.
- [The Studio](https://shots.beffa.xyz/docs/studio.md): A tour of the appShots Studio, the editor in the browser. Projects, slides and a set for each device, the theme, assets, languages, header and search results images, Export ZIP, mockups, settings and the admin page.
- [Logos and artwork](https://shots.beffa.xyz/docs/images.md): Put your own logo, app icon, mascot or stickers on App Store screenshots with appShots. How to upload images, show a logo over the headline, and place artwork anywhere on a slide.
- [Languages](https://shots.beffa.xyz/docs/languages.md): Make one App Store screenshot set in several languages with appShots. Pick the languages of a project, translate each headline, give each language its own screenshots of the app, and export one folder per language.
- [Render and export](https://shots.beffa.xyz/docs/export.md): Render an appShots project to PNGs at exact App Store sizes and download them as a ZIP, from the Studio, the appshots command or an agent. Includes where each file goes in App Store Connect.
- [Mockups](https://shots.beffa.xyz/docs/mockups.md): Turn raw app screenshots into device mockups with a transparent background. One PNG per screenshot of the iPhone, iPhone Duo, iPad or Mac alone, for a website, a README or a deck, from the Studio, the appshots command or an agent.
- [Banners](https://shots.beffa.xyz/docs/banners.md): Make a GitHub README banner, a repository social preview, a link preview image and a 16:9 post image from your app's screenshots with appShots. Sizes, layouts, fields, and where each file goes.
- [What App Review accepts](https://shots.beffa.xyz/docs/app-review.md): The App Store rules that matter for screenshots, in plain words. Show the real app, use only real ratings and awards, be careful with other companies' logos, and keep header images free of them.
