Terms of use

Last updated 11 October 2026

These are the terms for using this appShots server at https://shots.beffa.xyz. By signing in you agree to them.

The service is provided by beffa.xyz.

What the service is#

appShots makes App Store screenshots from the screenshots, images and text you give it. See the overview.

Your account#

  • You sign in with a Google account that is yours.
  • Keep your API tokens secret. What is done with a token of yours counts as done by you. Revoke a token you think has leaked.
  • The limits per account are listed under Accounts, tokens and limits. They can change.

Your content#

  • What you upload and what you make stays yours. The service claims no rights to your screenshots, images, texts or the rendered files.
  • You allow the server to store and process them for one purpose: making and showing you your screenshot sets.
  • Upload only what you have the right to use. That goes for screenshots, logos, artwork, and other people's names and words.
  • You are responsible for what your screenshots claim. Ratings, download counts, awards and reviews must be real.

What is not allowed#

  • Uploading anything illegal, or anything that infringes somebody else's rights.
  • Trying to reach other accounts' data, or to get around the limits.
  • Overloading the server, or using it to attack anything.
  • Reselling access to this server without permission.

An account that does these can be closed.

Fonts, icons and logos#

  • The fonts are open-source fonts under their own licences, which allow use in images.
  • The brand icons are trademarks of their owners. They are included so you can show which services your app works with. Whether you may use a logo is between you and its owner. See What App Review accepts.
  • appShots is not affiliated with Apple. App Store, iPhone and iPad are trademarks of Apple Inc.

No promises#

  • The service is provided as it is. It can change, be unavailable, or end.
  • Nothing here promises that Apple accepts your screenshots. App Review decides.
  • Keep your own copies of what matters. Download your renders, and keep your original screenshots.
  • As far as the law allows, the provider is not liable for lost data, lost profit or a rejected submission that follow from using the service.

Nothing in these terms limits rights the law gives you that cannot be given up.

Ending#

You can stop at any time by deleting your account, which deletes your data. See the privacy policy. The provider can close accounts that break these terms, and can end the service. If the service ends, you get reasonable notice to download your work where that is possible.

Changes#

When these terms change, the date at the top changes with it. If you keep using the service after a change, the new terms apply.
